At Bream Bay College a device is considered essential. There will be access to a limited number computers in all classrooms, but not having a device is a disadvantage. The College recommends a Chromebook as suitable for all students other than those wishing to study Digitech from year 9 to 13 where a laptop is desirable.

When choosing a device:
Must have wireless networking capability
Screen should be 11 inches or greater
Audio out port for ear buds or headphones
A minimum battery life of 6 hours
Web camera with a built in microphone
A device protective cover is desirable.
