Waipu Anglican Opportunity Shop/Waipu Lions Apprenticeship Grant

These grants are awarded to students who successfully gain an apprenticeship within 1 year of leaving Bream Bay College.  How to apply for the grants: To be considered for the grants the student approaches the College and submits a signed copy of their apprenticeship contract. If the paperwork is accepted, the College agrees to the purchase of $300 gst excl of tools/apprentice related materials from one of the College’s suppliers.  The retail companies who accept the Bream Bay College purchase order for purchasing tools/ apprentice related materials are:
• Bunnings
• Mitre 10
• Waipu Hammer Hardware
• Placemakers
• Carters
• Whangarei Toolshed
• Bream Bay Merchants
• NZ Safety Blackwoods 
• J A Russell
The student can choose their tools and provide the retailer with the white copy of the purchase order. An invoice is to be sent to Bream Bay College for payment.

Once the tools are ready for collection the student makes an appointment with the Principal’s PA to have a photo taken with the principal with the tools he/she has chosen.
